Sony uses connections, but owner Jerry platform is improvised converter cable through the wire splice - provided your bass is not connected via a universal power supply / audio cable or RCA cable standard.

My neighbor and I bought Sony DVD HTS apart nearly two weeks. My subwoofer uses a generic RCA cable connector, which was their property.

Good luck and hand

If your system is a Home Theater (Home Theater in a Box), then probably not. The subwoofers come with these systems are the passive subwoofer that does not need an integrated amplifier in the grounds of the submarine and reinforcement of the DVD system. Polk or Jamo subwoofer subwoofer are active and have their own dedicated amplifier in the housing built under water.

Your best option to upgrade the sub would first go to a separate receiver that has a DVD player such as Yamaha, Denon or Onkyo.
