Spectrum Lending Is The Internal/external Distinction In Chinese Martial Arts Really A Myth?

Is the internal/external distinction in chinese martial arts really a myth? - spectrum lending

seriously

People say the arts are internal or external one thing or another, but I think these definitions are also other arts, which exist outside the spectrum of the AMC.

For example, is found overwhelming technical stregth a concept in many arts, especially the fact talking JJB.

Be aware of your own mind and body, and the use of relaxation techniques are things that are in many arts professionals from the AMC, we will now be in a hurry as the "external".

What do you think of the speed bag? to strike a relaxed way quieter than when someone who is) with the knowledge that if whaile how it goes everywhere and it is not their goal is required (the heavy bag or a bond and gagged mime go from the ceiling.

Many functions such as breathing control and a corresponding "soft" training hard and then variations of push hands (punching someone? Be taught) used in other styles --

Although we note some of these concepts in other arts, so it is not allsomething outside of / myth and nonsense, a sort of distinction between the marketing method of approach to technical training has created?

How can you call the style "external" or "insider", where all kinds of many traits show house training?

Historically called the "internal" martial art that relates to China on methods that have arisen in China as "outside" the art of foreign origin.

The distinction is fairly new you in the big scheme of things, but was eventually known as acceptable. In essence, in terms of the aspects of the martial arts is initially concentrated. The artist interiors tend to focus on the role of mental / spiritual first, while foreign artists will focus on the physical. In addition, national artists to grow after a certain time as a foreign artist to be finally a non-internally. Of course, the findings held so far. If you believe in the "Chi" or energy or anything else is irrelevant - you win the attention through internal methods is a state of mind that everyone, regardless of their origin or religion, you see.

You are right, however, many internists have an elitist attitude. I have this first Hand one of the first schools where I worked. We had two classes of Choy Li Fut & Tai Chi Chuan. I came to discover why this person is, no stains on the hands with us ... mainly because they fight very seriously, even junior students in the class of Choy Li Fut!

The settings are, however, to the person, not on the system, some systems apparently only breed more idiots than others ...

EDIT: I wanted to add something before the flight feathers of many internal martial artists, I think I insulted her, and I'm a practitioner of methods, both "internal" and "external". This means that I train in Tai Chi Chuan, along with my southern Shaolin / Sil Lum training. I also had the experience of the Bagua and Hsing-Yi, a professor with great success in China. That is, I know what I mean and the scenario described above is an example of a type. Unfortunately, like many others I have met him from the Interior Ministry. Of course, the vast majorityand practice of Tai Chi Chuan, which I know are wonderful people, but sometimes a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

According to the "Handbook of Chinese martial arts," by Brian Kennedy and Elizabeth you were governor, you are right, it is a myth. Training is always a bit of both. And my experience in the martial arts (including karate, assisted a little by the AMC and fighting) that view. Not that I "think" some form of internal energy that you can achieve mystical goals, but an understanding of balance, sensitivity, biomechanics, etc.

It is no myth, in which external training as physical training, weight training improves your body's training is to train their qi or chi training, through meditation and Chi Gong powerful, which improves the body as well, but the internal control of energy is not a myth, in which there are two things at once genuine

Some styles teach first internal and external, and after a certain level of education, other styles in the opposite direction. Allegedly, the two are finally on the same state of enlightenment in time.
